Our reproduction services use state of the art techniques and equipment to produce high quality Giclee fine art reproductions of your original artwork. We start by photographing your artwork using a 4x5 studio camera and transparency film. The film is scanned at high resolution (file size between 200-800MB). After scanning into the computer the real work begins. Color and density are corrected to match the original artwork with a proof print made after each adjustment until the proof print matches the original. The artist and I will then evaluate the print and any further adjustments are made to the print until the artist is satisfied with the proof.
The final digital file is saved and archived for future printing needs. We also print 2 proof prints of the final file, one is for the artist the other is kept by us for comparison on all futre printing of the artwork. Now it is just a matter of placing your first print order. This is a print on demand system, we can print any size and any quantity from one print to several hundred, and each print will be the same every time.
